Themed Graphics & Signage

Twilight Town Sweet Shop

In THED 725, we were given schematics from Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff, a gift shop in California Adventure, and asked to re-theme its exterior and interior graphics to an IP of our choosing (without regard to the original shop’s surrounding Pixar Pier theming).

I themed my project to Twilight Town, a cozy yet industrial world found in Kingdom Hearts, a video game franchise where Final Fantasyesque characters fight monsters called the Heartless alongside Disney characters. Sea-salt ice cream is an iconic treat to Kingdom Hearts fans. Friends often eat it in Twilight Town, yet we never see the shop where they buy the ice cream. Based on my research on Twilight Town’s visuals and architecture, this is my imagining of what that shop would look like.

Our classes allow us to use IP for educational purposes. I do not claim to own any rights to the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
